happy long weekend (:
I have been looking forward to this weekend the entire week. Because it's finally a long weekend! And to think I was real stupid to have that illusion that I'd probably be one of the lucky few who gets to slow down and smell the roses. Dung! I forgot all about the other people in the schools who would be enjoying it just as much! haha! I miss my children. I do. I never thought I would. But I am missing them. And going back to SDC recently is so nostalgic. Brings back the fond memories of my 5/2 darlings last year. Even though it was but a very short semester with them, I must say it was love at first sight! Till date, I still keep them in my heart. I wonder how they are now..

it's only week5
Gosh! I've been a very grumpy grouchy bear since the term started. And for the most part, honey was very right. I didn't carry a positive learning attitude with me, kept my mind closed and forgot all about giving thanks and being really appreciative to be on this learning journey. Albeit all the gruesome taxation on the brain and energy, I am really thankful to have crossed paths with people from all walks of life. Especially my tutorial group. I have nice and kind people in my group. Some of them can be a little long-winded and over-cautious, but they are all very nice to work with. I don't know about others, but I wouldn't want to trade anyone from my group with the other groups. Another 7 weeks to go...

when in doubt, thank God.
I have so much that I want to write about over the past few weeks yet my laziness has taken over me. In summary, I am sort of embarking on a new chapter, the torturous course has started (i'd rather be in school, anytime), had a lovely dinner with some of thelovelies. Of late, I have been looking forward to off days and weekends. It when you spend time in another's shoes that you finally realise how it feels.. Like now, I can understand how it's like to be paid to do something, rather than doing something because you really want to and you enjoy it. Thankfully, the journey has been interesting for I have met people from all walks of life. Of course, there's give and take, now and then. But thank God, I have wonderful people in my tutorial class - which is really a blessing (because we spend so much time cooped up in a room together)! *it'd be so unbearable if it's a torturous group of people.. So yes, when in doubt, thank God. I always believe God has a bigger plan for us than we have for ourselves. |
