And why do we always end up trusting the wrong people, and wasting our hearts in the wrong places?

Especially for PiggyBestie "Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows. It is a very mean place and it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. You, me, or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life. But it ain't how hard you hit; it's about how hard you can get hit, and keep moving forward. That's how winning is done. Now, if you know what you're worth, then go out and get what you're worth. But you gotta be willing to take the heat, and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you are because of him, or her, or anybody." i love you and i'll always be here for you. when it is dark enough, you will see the stars :)

Who knows? The important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. Learn to let go of the past and recognize that everyday wont be a sunny day, and when you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair, remember -it is only in the black of night that you see stars, and those stars lead you back home... so don't be afraid to make mistake, to stumble and fall, because most of the time the greatest reward scome from doing the things that scare you most. Maybe you'll get everything that you wish for. Maybe you'll get even more than you could have imagined. Who knows where life would take you?

Being twenty-one feels a bit different, yet not. But I definitely have enjoyed myself tremendously ( : From my 21st Think Pink Party thrown by the family, to the actual day's pizza with my favourite socks and then family dinner; a sweet friday. Tell me what's not to love about birthday! In some ways, I still cant really chew on the fact the 21st pink party did take place. Everything's been flying past like a whirlwind, since Christmas. It's like I haven't really had the time to digest that we're over and done with 2007; I bade farewell to childhood and welcomed adulthood unknowingly. And before I know it, in less than half a month to come, I'll be biding adieu to Ngee Ann. It's really scary how time seems to be ticking away too quickly.. something I've not done in a long while: Our Bundle of Joy Y

Dear Wendy, Happy Twenty-First! ( : It's amazing and rather scary how fast time has passed us by. Just a few moments ago, you were this little newborn baby in the family overwhelmed with every little love and showered with care like how Joy is now. Just a few moments ago, you were this little girl busy in the childhood days with your little siblings and all the toys that Daddy and Mummy have bought. Just a few moments ago, you were this little girl entering primary school and everyone was excited to see how fast you have grown. Just a few moments ago, you were this little sporty girl who wanted to be a part of every game, swinging your bat and wearing the cap. And cheering loudly for the last Home-Run. Just a few moments ago, you became this big little girl, still. Having a good time with your favourite E3 people and others from E2 & E1. It was the best school years of your life. Just a few moments ago, you entered tertiary life. You were so stuck in the deep shit at the previous school. But you're lucky, a very lucky girl. God blessed you the golden opportunity to be transferred into both courses that you've applied for. And you're finally where you are now, with a heartful of gratefulness and happiness for everything you have come thus far. I must say, you have been a lucky girl somehow. From preschool till now, you were always the apple in one of the teachers eyes. And there were so many things you could get away with. To add on, all these teachers eventually become one of the most important people you turn to for advices. And you have been very blessed to have a happy childhood so filled with love from your family. Even as you've grown, your family have always been very supportive and loving, sheltering you with tender loving care, readily stood up for you and stood by you. And then there are your friends. The most people you have in life, other than your family members. For always being there for you anytime, for all the ways they have always loved you, these are the people you will cherish your whole lifetime. God is kind and gracious to have bestowed all of them to you. Many times in life, we crossed paths with people, for a reason, a season or a lifetime. There could have been sad times, hurtful times. Remember the good times and carry away with you the lessons that each of them has taught you. For they always make you a better person eventually. Give thanks to those who have hurt you badly. Give thanks to those who have crossed paths with you for a short while. Give thanks to those who made an impact in your life but just isn't there anymore. There are the people who have played a part in moulding who you are now. With you turning twenty-one, it means more responsibility. You have to grow out of being the little girl because you're an adult already. Time doesn't wait for you to be ready to be an adult. Nobody is. Continue to grow and give thanks for everyone and everything in the the grace of God. May this year be filled with love, happiness, peace and joy that will last you a lifetime. Be blessed. Cherish and be cherished. Love loads,Wendy p.s. I wished you have been at my party, late aunt. I have missed you so badly. even after all these years...
